Canada Day Closure

The OREA offices will be closed from 12pm - 2pm on Thursday, June 29. Scheduled classes will not be affected.

How to Apply


Thank you for your interest in applying to the OREA Real Estate College. Applying to colleges can be stressful, but the OREA Real Estate College has made it easy for you.

If you haven’t already done so, Please review Admission Requirements to determine what documents to submit if you have:

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Canadian/International Secondary School Diploma (or higher)
  • No Secondary School Diploma or Equivalent

When you’re ready, you can Apply Online with our easy-to-use web form, OR you can follow the steps outlined below.

Step 1: Set up a Student File.

Contact our Customer Service Department so we can create a student file for you. We will provide you with an Application ID that must accompany any document(s) you submit for admission.

Step 2: Submit Your Documents

Submit your documents with your Application ID in a clear and readable format by one of the following ways:

  • Email to admissions@orea.com
  • Fax to the Admissions Department at (416) 445-9728
  • Regular mail or in person:

If you were educated outside of Canada or the U.S., your documents must be first assessed by a recognized academic credential assessment service, such as the World Education Service. Include this report with your application materials.

If you do not have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, you may still apply if you are at least 18 years old and have successfully completed the OREA Real Estate College Admissions Test.

Step 3: Accept the Student Enrolment Contract

When your documents have been processed and accepted, you will receive an email welcoming you to the College. This email will provide you with your OREA Student ID, and instructions on how to log in to your personal, confidential My Portfolio account.

When you log in, you will be presented with the Student Enrolment Contract. Designed to protect your interests, this document will provide a detailed breakdown of all aspects of the program.

You will be eligible to enrol in the first course of the Salesperson Registration Education Program - Real Estate as a Professional Career - once you have completed the contract.

Step 4: Enrol in the First Course

You may now enrol in the first course of the Salesperson Registration Education Program - Real Estate as a Professional Career - in one of the following ways:
