Ontario REALTOR® Wellness Program
The Ontario REALTOR® Wellness Program (ORWP) provides comprehensive coverage for OREA’s nearly 100,000 Members, closing the gap for the tens of thousands of REALTORS® without access to important health benefits.

As of January 1, 2024, all OREA Members who are up to date on their Dues payments are automatically enrolled in the ORWP’s Standard Plan.

Please note that the Open Enrollment Period closed on March 29, 2024. The next opportunity to enhance coverage is January 2025. *Exclusions applied to new OREA Members and Members with life events, both within 31 days of eligibility.
All OREA Members pay the same regardless of age, with no medical tests or questionnaires required in order to participate in the ORWP. See below for what is included in the Standard Plan’s comprehensive coverage.

Why Now?
Over the years, Members have been asking for more support and access to health and wellness benefits. As a Member-based association, OREA began exploring the creation of a Member benefit program.
The REALTOR® Wellness Task Force was established, and they extensively consulted with Member Boards, Members, insurance consultants, and industry experts from associations across Canada.
At a Special Meeting of the Association on June 20, 2023, the ORWP was passed by Member Board nominees (the OREA Assembly). There was a requisition for a Special Meeting, which was held on November 29, 2023. At that meeting, the OREA Assembly determined that the ORWP would move forward, as approved in June. The Program took effect on January 1, 2024, for all REALTORS® in Ontario.
