Commercial database updated

OREA's Commercial members have known about the benefits of the Commercial Property Database (CPD) for some time. Now the CPD is about to become even better with the launch of some significant enhancements this spring.

The database, available at  www.ici-properties.com currently has over 15,000 listings, more than 2,000 REALTOR user accounts, and remains the most frequently viewed portion of the Ontario Investment Service web site www.2ontario.com, attracting more than 52% of its visitors.

  • Upgrades to the commercial property database include:
  • Map-based searching on regional, board and city levels
  • Multiple select region, city and property type searches
  • Buyer mandate (“wants”) posting system
  • Agribusiness properties and business listings
  • New graphical user interface and easier design
  • Ability to save frequent search criteria
  • Increased “remarks” area, ability to “keyword” search remarks field
  • E-mail reminders to user when listings/buyer mandates are about to expire

Once these enhancements are launched, OIS and OREA will embark on a marketing tour across the province to promote the database.
