The Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) has won an award for its efforts on workplace diversity. The association was one of five employers recognized for efforts in support of an inclusive work force that reflects the diversity, skills and experience of Canada’s population. The award was presented by ACCES Employment, which provides employment services to job seekers who are new Canadians. The 2013 Walk of Fame Awards were given to organizations that have worked with ACCES on several levels, including recruiting and hiring its clients, volunteering with its programs, mentoring and other partnership building activities. OREA has hired 10 individuals through the program. Other employers who received the awards were: Accenture Canada; B2B Bank; Cyclone Manufacturing Inc.; and QiiQ Communications/EcoCarrier™.
