The majority of buyers say they would have done some things differently after purchasing a home, according to a new survey.

The majority of buyers say they would have done some things differently after purchasing a home, according to a new survey.  Even though Canadian buyers do their homework, they indicated the top three lessons learned, according to the 2012 TD Canada Trust First Time Home Buyers Report. The lessons were: Be more thorough when budgeting and accounting for all of the costs of home ownership (60%); make a bigger down payment (60%); and buy a home sooner (55%).
