New resource available

Whether you are a veteran broker or brand new salesperson, having good resources available will increase your job success.

Whether you are a veteran broker or brand new salesperson, having good resources available will increase your job success.

To that end, in July, OREA launched a New Member Orientation Kit to address issues like what resources are available from OREA, CREA, and RECO, and what purpose each association serves.

The kit also provides clear information on the importance of protecting the REALTORS logo and trademark and allowable uses, addresses competition issues, addresses safety issues, as well as several other topics.

The Orientation Kit was originally intended to inform new members starting their careers in real estate, but the far-reaching information contained in the kit has a broader appeal, and its intended use extended to include professionals with many years of experience.

The kit was sent to real estate boards, who will be delivering the sessions. New members and anyone wanting a refresher course can contact their board to ask whether a presentation can be set up.
