OREA leader elected chair of CSAE

Ed Barisa, chief executive officer of the Ontario Real Estate Association, was elected chair of the Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE) at the society’s annual conference in Saskatoon in September.

Ed Barisa, chief executive officer of the Ontario Real Estate Association, was elected chair of the Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE) at the society’s annual conference in Saskatoon in September. He holds a Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the CSAE, as well as degrees from the Université de Montréal and McGill University. Barisa has served as CSAE vice-chair and secretary treasurer and on various CSAE volunteer committees over the years. In 2007, he received CSAE's Pinnacle Award for exceptional leadership and outstanding contribution to CSAE and to the association community. OREA congratulates Ed Barisa on this achievement.
