Emerge: Moving You Forward with the Tools for Tomorrow features topics designed to develop your skills and knowledge on emerging tools and technologies. Back by popular demand, the series is being offered for the second consecutive year.

“We know that real estate is a dynamic field and that it is constantly changing,” says Costa Poulopoulos, OREA president. “That’s why our members have told us that they love this series. It offers them the chance to learn more about the latest business tools and technologies and to stay up-to-date on technology. It’s not just for board leaders. It’s geared to everyone who is working in real estate today.”

Topics include: Developing an online strategy; building and maintaining your database; CRM-driven business growth; working the cloud; LinkedIn as a powerful lead conversion tool; smile, you’re on camera; and maximizing the effectiveness of digital advertising.

Six regional Emerge conferences have been scheduled for 2014. Each of OREA’s provincial areas is hosting an Emerge event, including North-eastern, Eastern, Central, Northern, Western, and Southern Ontario. The first Emerge event took place on June 20 in Thunder Bay. Upcoming dates and locations are as follows: Monday, Sept. 8 - Muskoka (Deerhurst Resort); Thursday, Sept. 25 - Markham (Hilton Suites); Thursday, Oct. 9 - St. Catharines (Holiday Inn & Suites Conference Centre); Wednesday, Oct. 29 - London (Best Western Lamplighter Inn & Conference Centre); and Thursday, Nov. 13 - Kanata (Holiday Inn & Suites).

Register early (at least three weeks before the event) and save. Early bird registration (excluding tax) is $59 for OREA members and $89 tax for non-members. Regular prices are $79 for OREA members and $109 for non-members. To register or for information, visit www.orea.com/emerge.
