Consumer campaign to launch nationally

Encouraged by so much positive feedback, CREA takes its campaign across the country to educate consumers on the value REALTORS® bring to the real estate transaction.

Encouraged by so much positive feedback, CREA takes its campaign across the country to educate consumers on the value REALTORS® bring to the real estate transaction. The national campaign starts the last week of February. The campaign, jointly developed by CREA and OREA, was first launched in Ontario last fall.

The campaign consists of a new Web site called howrealtorshelp.ca, and a series of two TV commercials. Howrealtorshelp.ca guides consumers through the buying and selling process and reinforces the importance of working with a REALTOR®.

The TV ads promote the value of REALTORS®, and promote the Web site as a resource for consumers.
As well, OREA will provide real estate boards with radio and print ads to complement the TV commercials campaign. Already several boards have gotten involved, highlighting how REALTORS® can help consumers with their own billboard and other advertising initiatives.
