House keyringAlmost half (45%) of first-time buyers and 41% of home owners wish they had done something differently during the transaction, says a survey from the Real Estate Council of Ontario. Having a better grasp of the process was expressed by 26% of buyers and 12% of sellers. Among buyers, 21% would have seen more houses, 15% would have had a home inspection, and 9% would have spent more time researching and interviewing real estate professionals before choosing one. These findings are part of RECO’s new public education campaign, Fact or Fiction, to educate consumers and highlight available real estate resources to help them make decisions.
