Home inspectors laud Leyser’s contribution
OREA past-president Laura Leyser has been chosen to receive the 2006 Michael Ludolph Award by the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors (CAHPI).

This award is presented annually at the CAHPI National Conference to an individual outside of the organization who has helped the home inspection profession to achieve its goals. A monetary award will go to the college or training institute of Leyser’s choosing.

President in 2004, Leyser has attended various CAHPI conferences and meetings, currently serves on the CAHPI National Certification Council, “and brings her experience and vast knowledge to that position,” CAHPI reported.

This award is dedicated to the memory of Michael Ludolph, who volunteered his time to the home inspection profession in an effort to achieve national standards.
